New Delhi: As exit polls indicate a potential shift in Delhi’s political landscape, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory, thanking voters for their overwhelming support. Addressing party workers and media, Sachdeva asserted that the people of Delhi are ready for change, signaling the end of Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) rule in the capital.

“I want to congratulate the people of Delhi. They have given so much love and blessings to BJP today,” Sachdeva said, exuding optimism about the party’s prospects. In a pointed jab at the AAP government, he added, “‘Aapda’ is leaving and BJP is coming,” using a play on words to describe AAP as a ‘disaster’ for Delhi.

Sachdeva also addressed concerns about electoral malpractice, emphasizing the party's vigilance against voter fraud. “If somebody does fake voting, they will be caught. We have been saying this since day one, and it's good that they have been caught,” he stated, although he did not provide specific details regarding any incidents of fraud.

Highlighting the key themes of the BJP's campaign, Sachdeva underscored the public’s demand for clean governance and infrastructure growth. “People of Delhi want a corruption-free government, and they want development,” he said, promising that a BJP-led administration would prioritize transparency and progress.
