New Delhi — Delhi BJP president Virendraa Sachdeva has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has deliberately disrupted the water supply in several parts of the national capital. According to Sachdeva, this move is a form of political vendetta against the people of Delhi who, he claims, have "defeated" the Kejriwal-led government.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Sachdeva stated, “The Arvind Kejriwal government has stopped the water supply to the people of Delhi. The people here have defeated him, but now he is doing all this to take revenge on the people of Delhi, which is very wrong.”
He further demanded an explanation from the Chief Minister, urging him to justify the rationale behind what he termed as a "punitive and undemocratic" action.
While the AAP government has yet to respond officially to the allegations, several areas in Delhi have reported irregular water supply in recent days, intensifying public concern. Sachdeva’s remarks come at a time when civic issues, especially access to essential services like water, are drawing heightened political attention ahead of the upcoming municipal reviews.
