New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing them of engaging in "shallow politics" and attempting to divert public attention from their failures. His remarks came amidst a heated political debate in the national capital.

"They (AAP) are doing shallow politics. AAP is unable to digest their failure, neither Arvind Kejriwal nor Leader of Opposition Atishi. They are lying. BR Ambedkar’s and Bhagat Singh’s pictures are still hung there (CM Office). They don't want discussion on their deeds and want to divert people," said Sachdeva.

Referring to the disruption on the first day of the Assembly session, he further criticized the party’s leadership. "This shallow action of theirs shows that Atishi, Arvind Kejriwal, and AAP are anarchists... They have nothing to do with development," he added.

On the issue of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, which have been a point of contention, Sachdeva reaffirmed the BJP’s stance. "It is our commitment, we have told that we will table it during the Assembly session... CAG reports will be presented, surely," he assured
