Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Inaugurates Adarsh Defence and Sports Academy Building in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Adarsh Defence and Sports Academy in Jodhpur, highlighting Rajasthan’s historic contribution to the nation’s defence and spirit of valour.

Addressing a public gathering on the occasion, Singh said, “I bow to the land of Rajasthan, whose soil has given India its brave and selfless sons. This is known not only in Rajasthan but across the entire nation. The very soil here is imbued with courage and valour.”

The Defence Minister emphasized the importance of institutions like the Adarsh Defence and Sports Academy in nurturing young talent for both national defence and sporting excellence. He noted that academies of this kind not only instill discipline and patriotism but also prepare the youth to excel in multiple fields, contributing to India’s progress.

Singh also acknowledged Rajasthan’s rich martial tradition, recalling the sacrifices made by soldiers from the state in defending the country. He said that the establishment of such academies would encourage future generations to follow in their footsteps, combining physical training with the values of service and dedication.
