Delhi: Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda has celebrated the recent influx of leaders from various parties into the Congress, expressing gratitude and optimism about the party’s growing influence in Haryana. In a statement, Hooda welcomed former BJP leader Sukhvinder Sheoran, Jai Prakash Aggarwal, and their teams into the Congress fold, highlighting the significant shift in political dynamics in the state.
Hooda emphasized the momentum building behind the Congress party as he stated, “Today a large number of leaders from many parties have joined our party, and I thank everyone for their support. The addition of Sukhvinder Sheoran, Jai Prakash Aggarwal, and their teams is a testament to the growing strength of Congress in Haryana.” He further noted that the prevailing sentiment across Haryana is a clear indication of a shift in governance preferences, with widespread support for the Congress party’s agenda.
According to Hooda, the unified voice emerging from Haryana reflects a desire for change, as he asserted, “Today, only one voice is coming from every corner of Haryana—the BJP government is going, and the Congress government is coming.” He also took the opportunity to critique the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), dismissing its impact in Haryana. “AAP has no influence in Haryana,” Hooda stated, reinforcing the Congress party’s position as the primary alternative to the current ruling party.
The influx of new members and the growing public support for Congress underscore a shifting political landscape in Haryana, as the party gears up for future electoral challenges.
