Delhi: CPI leader D Raja has condemned recent comments made by Pakistan’s Defence Minister regarding the Congress-NC alliance's position on Article 370. Raja expressed strong disapproval, stating, “It is none of Pakistan Defence Minister's business. Our internal matters are for us.” He underscored that the issue pertains to Indian political entities like Congress and NC and criticized Pakistan's involvement after the first phase of polling in Jammu and Kashmir.

Raja asserted that external interference is unwarranted and that the people of J&K are capable of determining their own future. “Why is Pakistan jumping in after the first phase of polling in J&K is over? This interference needs to be stopped,” Raja said. He emphasized the maturity of J&K’s electorate, expressing confidence in their ability to make informed decisions regarding their future.
