New Delhi — In the ongoing legal battle between AAP leader Satyender Jain and BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Monday granted Swaraj four weeks to file her reply to a revision petition filed by Jain.

Jain has challenged an earlier order by the Magistrate court which dismissed his defamation complaint against Swaraj. The complaint pertained to alleged defamatory remarks made by Swaraj, which Jain claims tarnished his reputation.

The court's decision to grant additional time comes after the BJP MP sought more time to respond to the revision plea. The matter has now been posted for further hearing on May 14.
