Raipur, June 24 — Congress leader and Chhattisgarh in-charge Sachin Pilot announced that the party is dedicating the year 2025 to organisational revival and grassroots mobilisation. Addressing reporters, Pilot revealed that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal will visit Raipur on July 7, where they will lead a major outreach event titled "Kisan Jawan Samvidhan" at the Science College Ground.
“The year 2025 is being dedicated entirely to strengthening the Congress organisation at every level,” Pilot said. “This is a critical time for the party to reconnect with the people and highlight issues that are being ignored by the current government.”
He added that the focus of the Raipur programme would be on the struggles of farmers and soldiers. “Farmers are reeling due to the shortage of fertilisers and inadequate irrigation facilities. The BJP government has failed to address their basic needs,” Pilot asserted.
