Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit has clarified the party’s stance on the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, stating that Congress will contest the polls independently, without any alliances under the INDIA bloc framework. Dikshit’s comments come amidst speculation regarding party strategies in the national capital.

“There is no INDIA alliance at the state level, and it doesn’t matter whosoever the Samajwadi Party and TMC support,” said Dikshit, addressing concerns about the cohesion of the opposition alliance in state elections. “In Delhi, we are contesting against AAP and BJP. Other parties can support anyone they want, but Congress will form the government in Delhi.”
