AICC General Secretary Jitendra Singh Alwar criticized the BJP for their ineffective flood management in Assam, highlighting the government's unfulfilled promises. "The BJP has been saying for the last 10 years that they will put in all efforts and stop the floods," Alwar stated, emphasizing the severe conditions in the village, where 4-5 feet of water has accumulated.

Alwar expressed concern over the lack of clean water and necessary food supplies for the affected residents. "The government is not interested in the plight of the people. 30 lakh people are affected, and 70 people have died. Who is responsible for this?" he questioned.

He assured that the Congress party would bring this critical issue to the Vidhan Sabha and the Parliament, urging immediate and effective action to alleviate the suffering of the flood-affected people in Assam.
