Lucknow: Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari has raised pointed questions following National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval’s recent remarks on Operation Sindoor. Tiwari questioned the government's handling of cross-border operations and called for greater transparency regarding the reported outcomes and intelligence protocols.
Referring to a public statement made by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) in Singapore, Tiwari said, “The statement of the CDS in Singapore states the loss we had to bear. What about the people killed by Pakistanis?” He acknowledged the precision of Indian military strikes, stating that “we are proud of the precision strike of our armed forces,” but argued that key figures behind terrorism, such as Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed, remain at large.
Tiwari also alleged the possibility of an internal security breach, asking, “Is there an informer in your (BJP) government who informed Pakistan about the attacks?” He called on NSA Doval to clarify the government’s internal processes and also shed light on the role of the External Affairs Ministry.
