Congress MP Alleges “Murder of Democracy” in Parliament, Cites CISF Action

Delhi: Congress Member of Parliament Pramod Tiwari has raised strong objections to the conduct of security personnel in the Rajya Sabha, alleging that democratic norms are being violated within the walls of Parliament. Referring to an incident involving the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Tiwari accused the force of inappropriate behavior toward members of the opposition, including senior Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury.

“We are raising our voice because democracy is being murdered inside the Parliament,” said Tiwari during a press briefing. “The way CISF entered the House yesterday... the way CISF personnel misbehaved with Renuka Chowdhury and other members, everyone must wake up on this issue.”
