Chandigarh | Congress leader Supriya Shrinate has expressed concern over BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s recent comments regarding the reintroduction of the three controversial farm laws. Shrinate emphasized that Kangana is not just a minor figure but one of the 240 elected MPs of the BJP.
"When she says that those three farm laws should be brought back, it cannot be a mere coincidence or her personal opinion. It seems more like a test balloon being floated by the BJP," Shrinate remarked during a press interaction.
She further demanded an official response from the BJP, stating, "The BJP should release an official statement on this matter to clarify their position on the farm laws, as this is a sensitive issue that affects millions of farmers across the country."
The farm laws, which were repealed following year-long protests by farmers, have been a contentious subject, and Kangana's statement has reignited debate over their potential return.
