Thiruvananthapuram – The Congress high command has given a "clear indication" on the party’s strategy for the upcoming local body and Assembly elections in Kerala, senior leader Deepa Dasmunshi said after a crucial meeting with state leaders.
"Congress remains deeply connected with the people of Kerala, and they are looking for a change," Dasmunshi stated. She emphasized that the party must respect public sentiment and avoid any actions that might alienate voters.
The meeting focused on devising an electoral roadmap, ensuring unity within the party, and finalizing strategies for the crucial elections ahead. Dasmunshi also issued a stern warning against unauthorized statements to the media, asserting that any personal opinions contradicting the party line would invite strict action.
"We have no right to disrespect the people of Kerala. Any individual expressing personal views in public will face consequences," she added.
