Patna, Bihar | Congress leader Pawan Khera has launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Election Commission of India (ECI), accusing them of manipulating electoral rolls and undermining the democratic process in several states.

Speaking to reporters, Khera said, “We received complaints from our workers that the names of people who have been voting for generations were deleted from the voter list. The entire nation saw that the Summary Revision (SIR) process was a flop show in Bihar.” He claimed that the alleged deletions were not isolated incidents but part of a larger pattern aimed at weakening the Congress’s electoral base.

Khera further alleged that similar irregularities had taken place in Haryana, where, according to him, the BJP “stole votes” with the help of the Election Commission. “With the collusion of the ECI and BJP, we were not able to form the government in Haryana,” he said, urging for an impartial probe into the alleged manipulation.
