CM Yogi Reviews Kanwar Yatra Preparations, Stresses Devotee Safety and Dignity

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting to assess and strengthen preparations for the upcoming Kanwar Yatra during the holy month of Shravan. The meeting brought together top officials to ensure a smooth, safe, and respectful experience for the millions of devotees expected to participate in the annual pilgrimage.

Highlighting the cultural and spiritual importance of the Kanwar Yatra, CM Yogi instructed officials to remain alert, sensitive, and proactive throughout the event. “The safety and convenience of devotees are our top priorities,” he said, directing the administration to provide all necessary amenities along the pilgrimage routes.

The Chief Minister called for comprehensive arrangements, including clean drinking water, medical assistance, sanitation facilities, canteens, and shaded rest areas. He specifically stressed maintaining cleanliness and ensuring prompt emergency response services along the route.
