Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, June 13 — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken serious cognisance of the tragic drowning incident in the Sitapur district, which resulted in multiple casualties. In an official statement, the Chief Minister conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and assured that the state government stands with them in this hour of grief.
Soon after reports of the incident emerged, CM Adityanath instructed the district administration to act swiftly, ensuring that injured individuals are taken to nearby hospitals without delay and receive all necessary medical attention and support.
"The Chief Minister has directed senior officials to reach the accident site immediately and expedite the relief and rescue operations," a government spokesperson confirmed.
