Gorakhpur: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath performed traditional and spiritual rituals at the revered Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, paying homage to his spiritual lineage and expressing deep reverence to the Gurus of the Nath sect.

Yogi Adityanath offered special prayers to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath, a central figure in the Nath tradition, and performed ceremonial worship at the temple. The rituals included homage to his Guru Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath, and Grand-Guru Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath, as well as other revered saints of the Nath tradition. The spiritual observance culminated with a grand aarti attended by devotees and temple priests.

The temple premises witnessed a large gathering of devotees who participated in the spiritual proceedings with devotion and enthusiasm. Guru Purnima, which celebrates the sacred bond between Guru and disciple, holds special significance for the Nath sect, and the Gorakhnath Temple remains a focal point of these celebrations every year.
