Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives following lightning strikes in Jhansi district. In an official statement shared by the Chief Minister’s Office, he extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.

Describing the incident as deeply saddening, the Chief Minister directed district authorities to ensure swift and appropriate relief measures. He ordered the immediate disbursal of the permissible ex-gratia compensation to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the calamity. Additionally, he instructed officials to provide the best possible medical care to those injured in the lightning strikes.

“CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives due to lightning strikes in Jhansi district. He prayed for the peace of the departed souls and extended condolences to the bereaved families,” read a post from the CM Office. “The Chief Minister has also directed immediate distribution of permissible relief amounts to the families of the deceased and ensured proper treatment for those injured in the disaster.”
