Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Media Centre for Mahakumbh 2025 on Thursday, highlighting the event’s potential to blend faith with modernity while significantly boosting the economy.
Addressing the gathering, Adityanath underscored the spiritual and economic significance of Mahakumbh 2025, stating, “This great gathering of faith and modernity will bring prosperity to every individual. Mahakumbh alone is projected to contribute Rs 2 lakh crore to economic growth.”
The Chief Minister described the event as a testament to how faith can drive economic prosperity, creating opportunities in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, and local businesses. “Mahakumbh 2025 will set a new example of how faith provides prosperity to the economy,” he said.
Adityanath also emphasized the pivotal role of the media in elevating Mahakumbh’s global stature. “I believe that your reporting will help establish Mahakumbh and Prayagraj as a tourist destination in the world,” he remarked, urging media professionals to showcase the grandeur and cultural richness of the event.
