Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated a three-day International Summit in Lucknow focused on the theme “Dimensions of Cyber Warfare, Multilateral Legal Framework, Forensics and Strategic Countermeasures.” The event brought together experts, officials, and stakeholders to deliberate on evolving challenges in the digital domain and the need for robust legal and strategic responses.

As part of the programme, the Chief Minister flagged off 75 Mobile Forensic Vans (MFVs) that will serve every district and commissionerate in Uttar Pradesh. The initiative aims to strengthen forensic capabilities and provide timely technical support in cybercrime investigations.

In his address, Adityanath emphasised the importance of keeping “the doors of knowledge open” as a prerequisite for progress, underlining the growing need for technological awareness in governance and security. He noted that Uttar Pradesh had significantly expanded its forensic infrastructure, increasing the number of labs from four before 2017 to twelve at present. Additionally, mobile forensic units have been introduced across all districts, alongside the establishment of cyber police stations in every district and dedicated cyber desks at every police station.
