Lucknow | Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday announced the upcoming ‘Naval Gallantry Museum’ in Lucknow, a landmark project dedicated to celebrating the valour, tradition, and achievements of the Indian Navy.

Envisioned as a tribute to India’s maritime legacy, the museum will be designed in the shape of a ship and is set to become a major cultural and educational attraction in the state capital. The Chief Minister said the museum will stand as a symbol of the Navy’s courage and contribution to national security.

According to the announcement, the museum will house several iconic assets of the Indian Navy, including the INS Gomti, the TU-142 aircraft, and the Sea King helicopter. These exhibits will be complemented by digital, interactive, and immersive experiences, offering visitors a first-hand understanding of naval history and warfare.

Describing the project as a “center of experience,” Yogi Adityanath said the museum will inspire future generations by showcasing the Navy’s commitment to protecting India’s maritime frontiers.
