RAIPUR — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has lauded the crucial role played by the media in bridging the gap between elected representatives and the public, especially in the context of the newly formed state assembly which includes several first-time MLAs.
Speaking on the evolving dynamics of the Chhattisgarh Vidhansabha, Sai remarked, “This time, there are many new MLAs in the House. The people have chosen them with expectations — to solve their problems and raise their voices in the assembly.” He noted that many of these legislators come well-prepared to represent their constituencies and address public grievances effectively.
Sai underlined the importance of media in bringing these efforts to the forefront. “Their hard work would remain unseen if not for the media. As the saying goes, ‘Jungle mein mor nacha, kisne dekha?’ (If a peacock dances in the forest, who sees it?). The media beautifully presents and amplifies their contributions for the masses to see and appreciate.”
