Rajnandgaon: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday highlighted the state’s remarkable 25-year journey during the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan, calling it a moment of pride for every citizen of Chhattisgarh.
Addressing the gathering, Sai said, “This year, we are celebrating the silver jubilee of Chhattisgarh. Our state has completed 25 years since its establishment. On November 1st, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state. He personally inaugurated the newly constructed assembly building, marking the auspicious silver jubilee celebrations.”
The Chief Minister lauded the progress Chhattisgarh has achieved since its formation in 2000, crediting the collective efforts of its people and the support of the central government. He said the state has moved forward in infrastructure, women’s empowerment, and rural development, aligning with the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
Sai also praised the women participating in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan, emphasizing their crucial role in strengthening self-help groups and contributing to rural prosperity. “The success of Lakhpati Didis reflects the determination of Chhattisgarh’s women to lead change at the grassroots,” he said.
