Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday chaired a high-level review meeting of the Industry Department at his official residence in Dehradun to oversee preparations for the upcoming grounding ceremony of projects worth ₹1 lakh crore in Rudrapur.
The mega investment event is a key milestone in the state’s industrial roadmap and will be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the chief guest, highlighting the Centre’s support for Uttarakhand’s economic growth agenda.
During the meeting, CM Dhami directed officials to ensure seamless coordination, adequate infrastructure readiness, and strong stakeholder engagement ahead of the ceremony. He emphasized that the investment proposals would significantly boost employment, infrastructure development, and regional industrialization—especially in the Kumaon region.
“The event in Rudrapur is not just about laying the foundation for projects; it’s about laying the foundation for a new, industrially vibrant Uttarakhand,” CM Dhami said during the review session.
