The Central Zonal Council is one of five regional councils established under the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, to facilitate interstate cooperation, coordination, and policy implementation across key areas such as infrastructure, security, water-sharing, and disaster management.
The leaders discussed regional challenges and collaborative strategies to improve governance, especially in sectors like internal security, border management, road connectivity, cybercrime control, and rural development.
