Delhi: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched a sharp attack on the Congress, accusing the party of repeatedly disrespecting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and engaging in divisive politics. Speaking to reporters, CM Dhami highlighted historical incidents and current political dynamics to substantiate his claims.
"The Congress party has always worked to insult Dr. Ambedkar ji. They never respected him. When Baba Saheb was made a member of the Constituent Assembly, many Congress leaders opposed him," said CM Dhami. He pointed out the BJP's contrasting approach, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's consistent efforts to honor Dr. Ambedkar's legacy.
He also noted the growing support for the BJP across the country. "Prime Minister Modi is continuously getting public support, whether it is Haryana elections or Maharashtra elections. Congress is completely frustrated and disappointed with all this," he remarked, adding that the BJP's victories reflect the people's rejection of Congress' politics.
CM Dhami further stated, "The public has taught them a lesson before, and they will teach them a lesson again. We will completely expose them and never let their divisive politics succeed."
The remarks come at a time when political tensions between the BJP and Congress have escalated over key issues. CM Dhami's statements underscore the BJP's intent to highlight past grievances and draw a stark contrast between its governance and Congress' historical legacy.
