Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Friday held a high-level review meeting to assess the pricing of key agricultural crops—tobacco, chilli, and cocoa. The meeting focused on ensuring that farmers receive remunerative prices for their produce.
Chief Secretary Shri K. Vijayanand and other senior officials of the state government participated in the discussions. The Chief Minister reviewed current market trends, procurement strategies, and challenges faced by farmers in securing fair returns.
Officials briefed the CM on price fluctuations and suggested policy measures to stabilize rates and support farmers. CM Naidu stressed the need for coordinated efforts to protect the interests of cultivators and promote sustainable farming practices in Andhra Pradesh.
