Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel marked Constitution Day by paying homage to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, at Central Vista Garden in the state capital. Patel offered floral tributes at Ambedkar’s statue as a gesture of respect and remembrance, commemorating the ideals of justice, equality and liberty that form the foundation of the nation’s democratic structure.
The ceremony drew the participation of several dignitaries, reinforcing the significance of the day for both governance and civic representation. Gandhinagar Mayor Miraben Patel, MLA Ritaben Patel, city BJP president Ashish Dave, senior municipal officials and local residents joined the Chief Minister in paying their respects. Attendees highlighted the abiding relevance of Ambedkar’s vision and the enduring strength of the constitutional framework in guiding India’s development.
