In a landmark initiative aimed at reinforcing the educational framework, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted a massive video interaction with 4.25 lakh School Management Committee (SMC) members across the state. The interaction underscored the critical role SMCs play in enhancing the quality of education at the grassroots level.

During the session, Chief Minister Patel emphasized the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the pivotal areas of focus: education, health, and security. He called for a shift toward value-based education and stressed the importance of active and regular involvement of SMCs in monitoring school infrastructure, ensuring quality facilities, and tracking student progress.

Patel urged committee members to hold frequent meetings to assess the functioning of schools, suggesting that such proactive engagement is key to building a robust educational environment. He lauded the collective efforts required to create a "Viksit Gujarat" — a developed and progressive Gujarat.
