Jalandhar, June 11 — Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reiterated his government’s firm stance on eradicating corruption and drug trafficking in the state, declaring that no one—regardless of their political stature—would be spared if found guilty.
Speaking at a public event in Jalandhar, CM Mann asserted that the crackdown on illegal activities would remain consistent and fair. “Action against corruption will continue in Punjab. We will not give an edge to anyone, even if he is politically powerful,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the campaign is not driven by political vendetta but by a commitment to justice and public welfare. “We have a zero tolerance policy against drug smuggling and corruption… No one will be targeted for illegal or vengeful purposes. But if proof is found against someone, that person will not be spared,” he declared.
