Patna, Bihar: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan on Friday said the formation of the new Bihar government is on track and likely to be completed within the next 48 hours. Speaking ahead of the oath-taking ceremony, Paswan stated that discussions within the alliance were progressing smoothly and that the structure of the incoming government would be finalised soon.
“It will be done soon. Discussions are going on. A sense of clarity will come on the blueprint of the government,” he said. Paswan added that he would be consulting senior Union ministers later in the day. “I think by tonight, I will also speak with senior Union Ministers, and the blueprint will be ready by today or tomorrow. We have to form the government before 22nd November. It will be done,” he asserted.
On the political front, Paswan also responded sharply to allegations made by Jan Suraaj spokesperson Pavan Verma, who claimed that World Bank funds meant for development projects were being diverted to finance the state’s scheme offering ₹10,000 to women.
Dismissing the claim, Paswan questioned the basis of the accusation. “Where do they get this data from, this information from? Making empty claims—if you have any facts, present it and the government will respond,” he said, urging critics to back allegations with evidence rather than speculation.
