Raipur: Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals exceeding ₹967 crore during a business meet held in Bastar, officials said on Thursday. The proposed projects span key sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, and food processing, and are expected to generate more than 2,100 employment opportunities in the region.

According to the state government, the investment commitments reflect growing confidence among industries in Chhattisgarh’s economic potential and policy environment. The initiatives aim to boost regional development, particularly in Bastar, a tribal-dominated district that has been a focus of the state’s inclusive growth agenda.

Officials noted that projects in healthcare will expand access to advanced medical services, while investments in agriculture and food processing will provide a direct boost to farmers by enhancing value addition, improving supply chains, and opening new market opportunities.
