Delhi: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday announced that the state has already received investment proposals worth ₹7.83 lakh crore, signalling what he described as a renewed wave of industrial confidence in the region. Speaking in the national capital, Sai said that the proposals are not just on paper but have begun translating into real activity on the ground.

He emphasised that the state government is actively implementing its industrial policies to create a more business-friendly environment. “Up until today, our state has already received investment proposals worth ₹7.83 lakh crore. Not just proposals, but work on the ground has begun as well,” he said, stressing that the administration is committed to providing all necessary support to investors.

Sai added that the government is continuously engaging with businesses and inviting industrialists from across the country to set up operations in Chhattisgarh. According to him, the state’s improved security situation and its focus on infrastructure, logistics, and policy reforms have strengthened investor trust.

In a significant assertion, he assured the business community that the long-standing challenge of Naxal violence has been brought under control. “We want to assure all industrialists in the country that there is no longer any fear of Naxalites here,” he said, noting that enhanced security measures and sustained development efforts have transformed the ground reality in affected regions.
