Raipur, Chhattisgarh — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday reiterated his government’s firm commitment to uprooting Naxalism from the state, expressing confidence in achieving the Centre’s goal of complete elimination of the insurgency by March next year.

Speaking to reporters after reviewing ongoing anti-Naxal operations, CM Sai said, “We are continuously getting success in our operations against the Naxalites. For this, I thank and salute our soldiers for their bravery.”

He credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for setting a clear and bold objective. “It is PM Modi and Amit Shah's target to end Naxalism by March next year. We will surely fulfil their sankalp (resolution),” Sai affirmed.
