Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai of Chhattisgarh marked a significant step towards combating cybercrime in the state by inaugurating its first-ever Cyber Bhawan. The facility aims to strengthen the police force's ability to address the growing menace of cyber fraud and ensure citizen safety.
Speaking at the inaugural event, CM Sai highlighted the government's commitment to bolstering cybercrime management. "Our government is strengthening the police system to deal with cyber crimes in the state. Taking an important step in this direction, today the first Cyber Bhawan of the state was inaugurated," he said.
Emphasizing public awareness, the Chief Minister urged citizens to remain vigilant against online fraud. "Your vigilance and alertness are the biggest solutions to cyber fraud," he added, underlining the role of public cooperation in tackling cyber threats.
The Chief Minister praised the efforts of Chhattisgarh Police in keeping a constant eye on cybercriminals and ensuring swift action against them. "Chhattisgarh Police is keeping an eye on cyber criminals every day for your safety and taking strict action against them. No matter where the criminals are hiding, our police will find them," he asserted.
With cybercrime on the rise, the Cyber Bhawan is expected to serve as a hub for advanced cyber forensics, investigation, and coordination. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and trained personnel dedicated to tracking and neutralizing cyber threats across the region.
This initiative reflects the state government’s proactive approach to modernizing law enforcement and safeguarding the digital security of its citizens, setting a benchmark for other states to follow.
