Sarangarh, Aug 11 — Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday attended the inauguration and foundation stone-laying ceremony for development projects worth ₹186 crore in Sarangarh, part of the recently formed Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district.
Addressing the gathering, Sai congratulated residents and said the projects would boost the district’s growth and infrastructure. “Today in Sarangarh, the inauguration and foundation laying ceremony of development projects worth Rs. 186 crore has been completed. Congratulations to the district residents for this. Sarangarh-Bilaigarh has been established as a new district. Certainly, development work will take place in the district,” he said.
The projects include infrastructure upgrades, public amenities, and schemes aimed at improving connectivity and local services. Officials stated that these developments are part of the state government’s broader initiative to strengthen newly created districts and promote balanced regional growth.
