The Chief Minister confidently declared that "Naxalism is taking its last breath" and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring its complete elimination from Chhattisgarh. He acknowledged the role of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who has visited the state twice in the last nine months to address the Naxal threat. "He has this resolve that we have to eliminate Naxalism by March 2026," CM Sai remarked.
This statement comes as the state government intensifies its efforts to combat Naxalism, aiming to bring peace and stability to the region. With continued focus and cooperation between the state and central governments, the goal of a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh appears to be within reach.
