Chamoli, Uttarakhand | Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari issued a cautionary statement as snowfall is expected in the region tomorrow. With the influx of tourists increasing during the holiday season, Tiwari assured that special efforts are being made to ensure visitors' comfort while urging them to be mindful of the road conditions.
“There is a possibility of snowfall tomorrow. The influx of tourists is increasing, and special care is being taken to ensure tourists are comfortable,” said Tiwari. He further informed that local authorities, including the police and Border Roads Organisation (BRO), are actively working to clear the roads and maintain accessibility for travelers.
Tiwari appealed to tourists to exercise caution while driving, given the possibility of hazardous conditions due to snowfall. "It is an appeal to the tourists to drive vehicles carefully and enjoy the New Year peacefully," he added, stressing the importance of safety during the busy tourist season.
