Jaisalmer, Rajasthan: In a resolute statement reflecting the unwavering dedication of India’s border forces, Border Security Force (BSF) officer Jaipal Singh spoke about the pivotal role the BSF played during Operation Sindoor, an intense and strategically important mission along the western border.

Addressing the media, Singh emphasized that the BSF has consistently remained vigilant and prepared—“During Operation Sindoor, before Operation Sindoor and in the future, BSF has always been ready to perform its duty for the security of the country,” he said.

According to Singh, the operation saw a significant spike in hostile drone activity from across the border. “The enemy sent drones and shells, and we used our equipment tactfully and neutralised their drones,” he stated. He also praised the Indian Air Force (IAF) for its effective role in the operation. “The Indian Air Force did a very good job during this. Many air bases of Pakistan were damaged. This is a matter of pride for us,” he added.
