By a Staff Reporter : Border Security Force (BSF) Eastern ADG Ravi Gandhi has been transferred to the post of ADG, Logistics in Delhi. Mahesh Agarwal will take over as the new Eastern ADG, BSF in his place.

BSF officials said that Ravi Gandhi has served the eastern region efficiently for a long time, and they have congratulated him for his new responsibility.

It is worth noting that a few days ago, BSF Eastern ADG Ravi Gandhi played an important role in dealing with the heated situation under the Waqf Act in Murshidabad. He visited the violence-hit areas of Shamserganj and Suti police stations in Murshidabad. He spoke to the affected residents and assured them that the situation would be brought under control soon. He inspected the international border areas of Murshidabad and Malda districts, reviewed the security arrangements and directed the officials to maintain strict vigil. Due to his actions, the tense situation in Murshidabad has gradually started returning to normal.
