BSF Arrests Indian Smuggler with Rs 5.82 Crore Worth of Gold

Border Security Force (BSF) apprehends an Indian smuggler near Border Outpost Haldarpara, seizing 9 gold bricks and 21 gold biscuits weighing approximately 7.87 kg, valued at Rs 5.82 crore.

In a proactive operation, the vigilant jawans of the 32 Battalion Border Outpost Haldarpara, under BSF South Bengal Frontier, successfully apprehended an Indian smuggler. Acting on intelligence from the BSF Intelligence Department, the jawans intercepted the smuggler attempting to transport 9 gold bricks and 21 gold biscuits.

The smugglers had attempted to evade detection by throwing the gold consignment over the fence. The seized gold, weighing approximately 7.87 kg, is valued at Rs 5.82 crore.
