Hyderabad: BRS MLC K. Kavitha has criticized Telangana Chief Minister over his handling of the state’s irrigation policies, accusing him of lacking depth in understanding the sector's demands. Speaking at a roundtable discussion on irrigation projects, she stressed the need for increased budgetary allocations to complete pending projects and initiate new ones.
"The CM of the state is lacking depth in understanding the irrigation demands of the state, and that is why we held a roundtable conference with the intellectuals and engineers of Telangana who built the major irrigation projects," Kavitha stated.
She further emphasized that the upcoming state budget must prioritize irrigation, ensuring adequate funds not only for the completion of previously sanctioned projects but also for the development of new initiatives.
