K Kavitha, Member of Legislative Council (MLC) from Telangana's ruling BRS party, has expressed surprise over the silence of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on the ongoing National Herald case, despite the matter gaining significant attention across the country.

Speaking at a public event in Khammam, Kavitha remarked, “Surprisingly, the Telangana CM has been very silent on this. Although he is on an international trip, I believe the internet will definitely work in Japan… We were expecting that there would be a statement from the CM, but it is very interesting politics happening in Telangana.”

The National Herald case, which has become a focal point of political debate, has drawn reactions from several political leaders. Kavitha’s comments come in light of her growing concerns over the state government’s stance on national issues and the apparent reluctance of CM KCR to address the controversy.

Kavitha further fueled political discourse by branding the Chief Minister as an "RSS CM." “That’s why I have always been calling him an ‘RSS CM,’” she added, suggesting a shift in KCR’s political alignment and his closeness to national-level political currents.
