Patna, Bihar: In a recent statement, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai provided critical details about the upcoming examination process, slated to involve over 4.83 lakh students. The examination will be conducted across 900 to 925 centres, with robust security measures in place to ensure the integrity of the process.
Manubhai highlighted the extensive efforts being made to prevent any unfair practices. "More than 30,000 CCTV cameras have been installed, and three-tier security arrangements are in place at each centre. Additionally, jammers have been activated to block any electronic interference," he stated. He further reassured that the biometrics of all candidates would be verified along with their ID proofs to maintain strict control over the examination process.
The BPSC Chairman also addressed recent rumors surrounding the examination, specifically the concept of 'normalization' of scores. Manubhai refuted these claims, stating that the Commission had never discussed or publicized the idea of normalization. He accused private coaching institutes of spreading misinformation to mislead students and provoke unnecessary protests against the Commission. "This is purely misinformation designed to create unrest among students," he emphasized.
The Chairman's clarification comes as part of the Commission's efforts to ensure a transparent and fair examination process, addressing concerns and rumors circulating among candidates. The BPSC is committed to maintaining the highest standards of examination security and fairness as it moves forward with the upcoming assessments.
