Union Minister BL Verma criticized the alliance between Congress and National Conference, describing it as a mismatched partnership formed out of political and personal interests rather than shared ideas and policies. Speaking in Delhi, Verma pointed out the discrepancies in the alliance and questioned the motives behind it.
He highlighted the positive atmosphere created by the central government in Jammu and Kashmir and emphasized the work done to strengthen the democratic system in the region. Verma noted the enthusiastic participation of people in the Lok Sabha elections and called on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to clarify his stance on Article 370, which pertains to the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
