NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Monday issued a scathing warning to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, stating that once the BJP forms the government in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his colleagues will be preoccupied with legal battles.

Taking a sharp dig at Kejriwal, Delhi Minister Atishi, and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Sachdeva claimed that they would soon be spending their time in court answering corruption charges. "When the face of the Chief Minister from BJP comes and the government is formed, Atishi, Arvind Kejriwal, and Manish Sisodia will have so much work that you will not even find time to scratch your head," he said.

Accusing the AAP leaders of theft and fraud, he added, "You will have to go to court every day; you will have to answer for the frauds you have committed against the people. It would be better to save your energy for that rather than waste it on useless things."

The remarks come amid an ongoing political slugfest between the BJP and AAP over multiple allegations of corruption and misgovernance in Delhi. While the BJP has repeatedly targeted AAP over the excise policy scam and other financial irregularities, Kejriwal's party has dismissed these allegations as politically motivated.
