Delhi, May 22 — BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today strongly criticized Congress leaders, accusing them of insulting India’s armed forces by dismissing their valour as mere “filmy dialogues.” Speaking at a press briefing in Delhi, Chugh condemned what he described as the opposition’s attempt to undermine the army’s achievements for political gain.
“Congress leaders are insulting India’s brave army by calling their valour filmy dialogues,” said Chugh. “If you want to listen to India’s threat, listen to it resounding in every street and market of Pakistan.”
Chugh went on to accuse Congress of engaging in “cheap politics” to win favour with Pakistani media, calling them the “blue-eyed boys” of Islamabad. “To become the star boy of Pakistani media, Congress leaders have resorted to cheap politics,” he added.
