Chennai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Tamilisai Soundararajan has criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin for his recent letter to the public, in which he alleged that the people of the state are struggling due to the Central Government's actions. Responding to Stalin's remarks, Soundararajan said the real cause of people's hardships lies in the misgovernance of the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government, not the Centre’s policies.

“The Chief Minister has written a letter to the public saying that people are struggling every day and opposing the Central Government. But what is the Central Government doing? It is implementing numerous beneficial schemes for the welfare of the people,” Soundararajan said. She asserted that the DMK government is failing in its responsibilities and is attempting to divert attention from its shortcomings by blaming the Union Government.

She further alleged that basic governance mechanisms have deteriorated in Tamil Nadu under the DMK’s leadership. “People should be able to approach government offices every day. Instead, the state government is conducting special camps and portraying them as achievements, when these are actually temporary solutions to persistent administrative failures,” Soundararajan remarked.
