New Delhi: BJP candidate from the New Delhi assembly seat, Parvesh Verma, has leveled serious allegations against AAP National Convenor and Arvind Kejriwal. During a door-to-door campaign near Lal Bahadur Sadan, Kejriwal was reportedly confronted by local residents with questions about employment.
According to Verma, three unemployed youths—Vishal, Abhishek, and Rohit—attempted to ask questions about jobs to Kejriwal. However, Verma alleges that Punjab Police personnel accompanying the AAP leader assaulted the youths and broke the phone of one of the BJP workers present.
The situation escalated when Kejriwal's car allegedly struck the three individuals. "The driver of the car applied brakes upon seeing the three youths, but Kejriwal signaled the driver to crush them," claimed Verma, describing the incident as an "attempt to murder."
The three individuals reportedly sustained injuries, and Verma stated that they would be filing an FIR against Kejriwal. "This is a clear case of attempt to murder. I am heading to the police station, and a case will be registered," he added.
